METHCESFUEL Researcher Receives Best Poster Award at SDEWES 2026
The presentation of the poster “Direct DME Synthesis from Methanol-Derived Syngas” received a Best Poster Award at SDEWES conference in Gran Canaria
The METHCESFUEL project was represented at the SDEWES 2026 conference in Gran Canaria, through several several contributions presented by our partners from Universidad Loyola and University of Seville.
Throughout the conference, they presented research addressing the integration of thermochemical energy storage into synthetic multi-fuel production systems and the development of flexible renewable fuel pathways. With renewable fuels featured in a dedicated session, our partners were able to discuss current challenges and developments in the field and present the objectives and progress of the project. It was a great opportunity to share the project and exchange ideas with researchers working on related topics.
A highlight of the event was the recognition received by Diego A. Rodriguez Pastor, whose poster “Direct DME Synthesis from Methanol-Derived Syngas” was awarded one of the conference’s Best Poster Awards.
